surgeryyyyyyyy...

hey remember that one time in august when i got an MRI on my shoulder and they told me nothing was torn? (and i told them there was)

and then remember how i did three months of physical therapy to fix something that wasn't torn (even though i said it was)

and then remember how i just had surgery even though nothing was torn (even though i said they would find a tear in there)

and then remember when the surgeon didnt say anything to my mom about finding a tear (and i was really confused because i was convinced something was torn)

and then i went in to get my stitches out, and lo and behold, he told me the labrum had been torn and i had this that and the other thing done to fix it.

I SHOULD HAVE HAD THIS SURGERY IN AUGUST. (insert grouchy face here)

and i'm smarter than doctors. good thing i am going into physical therapy.

blaaaaah. its been a reeeeeaaaaaaallly good day.

i'll post some pictures soon. they aren't really that exciting though.

oh p.s. heather: i loved your last post. and guess what? i'm BUYING A MACBOOK. you've all inspired me. :)

i got my

lllllaaaaaapppppyyyyyy back today [it's working, the battery doesn't charge, but it turns on when it plugs in. whatever.] i was sort of excited. but the wireless has been disconnected or something. gotta have somebody come and fix that. but the point of this story is: its no beautiful, shiny, new, 20 inch iMAC.

maybe i can't watch tv and facebook chat at the same time

maybe its not a PC [ew gross] remember those mac vs. pc commercials

i love and am so grateful for my mac, even if it is still stuck on my desk in my room!

Maybe this is the one and only picture of the six of us. Maybe we had a legit apartment. Maybe we had apartment prayer every morning at 7:25. Maybe the only things we really fought about were dishes and trash. Maybe we had over 200 Horkley's cups in our possession. Maybe we laughed, cried, and cheered. Maybe the ridge two10 was much more than an apartment and maybe I think of you as more than roommates.

Greetings from the Windy City :)

This week has been just insane:
• Tiffany and I have a new addition to our bed: Whitney.
She boke off the engagement with Neal last weekend, and came to visit. Upon arriving, they broke up completely. It's tearing both of them apart and it's really hard to watch. So looks like Memorial Day Weekend is out. Sorry Kristen :( However, Jeff made flight plans to come here! So he'll be here for a week and I'm so excited.
• I am now a nanny. I've been working for 3 whole days and I get to watch the cutest girl in the whole world, Eva. I only work from 7:30-1:30 M-F so it's like the best job ever. Plus I just get to play with her. Basically my day consists of:
Passing the Oprah Show set at around 7:15 a.m.
Playing with this cute girl for hours; we sing songs, read books, play with stuffed animals, have tickle fights, go to the park, and eat breakfast and lunch together.

And then I'm home between 12:30 and 2. I'm getting paid way too much to have fun.

Plus I get to walk past this really amazing building every day. SHOUT TO KRISTEN. (check out the Sears in the background!)


• My sister is amazing. I am so glad I'm here even though I miss all of you sooo so much. Loves.

• And the singles ward....is well a singles ward. But it's fun! Yes. Haha

And don't worry Court, Eric killed it on Rock Band. He played expert on the drums and got like a 93%. It's ridiculous.

of course over the break i did a lot of shopping, and it occured to me, when kristen called me last night and asked me what i wore on the first day of class, that y'all are missing out on the new spring editions to my wardrobe.

I didn't think I would ever say this, but I miss you all borrowing my clothes... I now have too much laundry and extra clothes hanging in Jessica's empty bedroom, which is now -- my storage closet/art studio! :)

alpha and omega

welp, the first day of my first summer semester was successful [after rearranging my schedule last night]. I have already done too much homework and have much more homework to do and a new day of classes tomorrow. I went to ward FHE to not meet my FHE brothers, because they were not there. whatever. i have seen matt, ace, chase, tyler, nate, jacob, kelsey, meagan, met new roommates, got a weeks worth of mail, drank one horkley's sized diet coke, went to the grocery store, spent too much on too many books, experienced rare rexburg, april 75 degree weather, played stupid get-to-know-you games, unpacked, already blogged, stalked people on fb, and so much more in the little over 24 hours i've been back in rexburg.

but i need more sleep [already], i need more pinkberry, in.n.out, anthropologie, nordstrom, urban, cooper, jgk&k, time for fun things, time for homework, money, family, but most of all i need my faves THE GIRLS UPSTAIRS!!!!!!

its been a time of reflection for me over these past few days {especially my nine hour road trip today = D } about the person that i have become and the people who have changed me. I'm a different person then when i walked into the Ridge two10 about seven months ago. I have been taught, inspired, and guided by some of the greatest people i have ever met. Thank you for being my friends through some of the most influential times of my life. i will cherish our memories constantly! and miss apartment prayer every morning.... but probably not till about 10! i've never been good at farewells, especially to the people that have made me the person that i am today. i adore you, my fellow roomates, my friends, my boys, my heroes! miss you more than you know! love, kristen
